Colorado Carpet & Flooring, Inc. and With the Grain, LLC have used the weak economy to combine forces which has enabled us to touch a larger amount of people. With the marketing and sales knowledge of Colorado Carpet & Flooring's President, Mike Boire, and the wood flooring craftsmanship and expertise of With the Grain's, Tom Grimes, the two have been able to combine forces to give customers the ultimate hardwood flooring experience.

Mike Boire

Mike comes from a background in sales, marketing, and website expertise. Mike believes in honesty, integrity, and loyalty. While there are a lot of suspect characters in the flooring world, Mike does his best to give accurate estimates and keeps the installations on time. Mike attended Oregon State University where he graduated with a degree in Business. He was a member of the baseball team all 4 years. Today he enjoys mountain biking, camping, basketball, golf, and coaching. His stint as a volunteer coach with the Air Academy High School baseball team was a memorable one.

Tom Grimes

Tom comes from a long line of wood workers and craftsmen. His brothers are hardwood flooring experts in Minnesota and were brought up working with wood. Tom is fortunate enough to be able to work with his son, Tommy, who is a very skilled installer himself. In his spare time, Tom enjoys drinking German beer and fishing.
